From one kit to a worldwide movement

The story behind AsHumanity — and why it matters now more than ever.

2014

KITS Foundation founded in Southeast Asia

Started with a mission to deliver care kits to children in refugee camps and migrant worker communities across Thailand and Myanmar. Our first 200 kits were packed by hand at a kitchen table.

2017

First cross-border partnerships established

Formalized relationships with the Rohingya Youth Network in Cox Bazar, Bangladesh — extending our reach to one of the world's largest refugee settlements and 24,000 children.

2020

Expanded to Africa — Uganda & Sudan

Partnered with Spring of Smiles Ministry in Uganda and the Global Refugee Initiative, delivering to orphaned children and Sudanese refugees. Our first program on a second continent.

2022

100,000 children reached — a landmark milestone

The moment we knew the model worked, and that it was time to build something with truly global reach. We began planning the transition from KITS Foundation to AsHumanity.

2026 — Today

AsHumanity launches worldwide

A new name, a global mission — and the same beating heart. AsHumanity is the KITS Foundation, grown up and ready to reach every child who needs us, on every continent.
